Privacy Policy

Inner Keep ("The App") is a private offline journal application for Android. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices - or more accurately, our complete absence of data collection.

This policy applies to the Inner Keep Android application developed by Ashtec Apps and the website at innerkeep.app.

We collect nothing.

Inner Keep does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information, including but not limited to:

• Your name, email address, or any identifying information
• The content of your journal entries
• Your location or device location
• Usage statistics or analytics
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• Device identifiers
• Any other personal or non-personal data

All data you create within Inner Keep - your journal entries, condition scores, settings - is stored exclusively on your device using SQLite, a local database. This data never leaves your device under any circumstances.

Inner Keep does not require an internet connection to function. The app has no network calls, no server communication, and no cloud sync of any kind.

The only external links in the app are links to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, which open in your browser if you choose to tap them. No data is transmitted when you do so beyond what your browser typically sends when loading a webpage.

Inner Keep contains zero third-party SDKs. There are no:

• Analytics tools (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude)
• Advertising SDKs
• Crash reporting tools (no Crashlytics, no Sentry)
• Social media integrations
• Payment processors within the app (purchases are handled entirely by Google Play)

Inner Keep offers optional biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) to lock the app. This authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system (Android's BiometricPrompt API). Inner Keep never has access to your biometric data - it only receives a pass/fail result from the system.

Inner Keep is a paid application purchased through the Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled by Google. We do not receive, store, or have access to any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it at all times.

You can delete your data by:

• Using "Erase All Data" in the app's Settings screen
• Uninstalling the app (this removes all associated data from your device)

There is no server-side data to delete because we never had it in the first place.

Inner Keep does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13 or under the age of 18. The app is intended for adults.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since we collect no data, changes are unlikely to affect your privacy in any meaningful way.
